Getting the best image and selecting the right components for your vision system can be challenging. Specific knowledge of light, lighting techniques, filters and lenses is needed. Testing different set-ups and conditions also requires a lot of different, specialized components.
Ideally a PoC and/or feasibility test is done in the earliest stages of a project, but ofyen there is reluctance to invest in knowledge and expensive components that might not even be used later on.
This is where we can help. At IoLite-vision we specialize in the optical part of vision. We have the expertise and the materials to do the preliminary testing for you. This is our Visibility Test.
This is how we add to your proof of concept or your feasibility study:
First we discuss the desired optical solution, its functions and non-functions, so we fully understand your specific needs, challenges and goals. Objectives, preconditions and timelines are determined.
In our lab we build an initial test set-up. In this set-up we re-create as much of the "real-life conditions" as possible. We use actual samples and different hardware components to decide on the best solution direction. We tune and test untill we can offer you the best image possible created in this lab environment.
After the testing phase you receive a detailed “Light study report”. This is the blue-print for your (on-site) test setup and adds to your feasibility study. The report also describes what can be expected, which possible issues might require extra attention and what investments are to be expected.
After the on-site tests, the results will be reviewed. These determine if the desired outcome is achieved, or some final adjustments are needed. We provide on-site test support as well.
